On Sunday evening, Harris’ campaign website added a new “Issues” section that describes her platform as “A New Way Forward”—a reference to her speech at the Democratic National Convention last month.
The page features four main sections, highlighting various policy ideas on the economy, freedoms, law and order and national security.
The section on the economy—an area where Trump holds a strong polling edge—is the longest and includes proposals for middle-class tax cuts, affordable childcare, tackling price gouging, lowering healthcare causes and strengthening social security.
At the end of each of the four sections, the Harris campaign contrasts her proposals with Project 2025—the sweeping hard-right policy initiative authored by the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation.
While former President Donald Trump has repeatedly distanced himself and his campaign from the controversial right-wing blueprint, Harris’ website describes it as “Trump’s Project 2025 Agenda.”
The Harris campaign has come under criticism from Republicans in recent weeks for offering few concrete policy proposals.
