Former President Trump has taken a 2-point lead over Vice President Harris nationally, according to a new poll conducted by HarrisX and Forbes.
The poll found Trump leading Harris, 51 percent to 49 percent. In a September survey, Harris led by 4 points.
Many voters, however, say they are still weighing their options. Twelve percent of likely voters and 18 percent of registered voters say they are undecided about who they will vote for.
The undecided vote is huge. With the countdown to Election Day on, Harris and Trump are making their last-minute pitches to voters and looking to secure every vote they can. In what is expected to be one of the closest elections of all time, a handful of votes could determine the winner.
Harris X founder and CEO Dritan Nesho said the election is a “dynamic, competitive race” that will stay that way “to the very end.” It will come down to voter turnout and that 18 percent undecided population, he said.
