An overwhelming majority of voters said Congress should pass a coronavirus relief package as soon as possible, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
Seventy-seven percent of registered voters in the Nov. 10-13 survey said Congress should pass another round of stimulus as soon as possible.
Twenty-three percent said the nation does not need a new coronavirus relief package because the economy is bouncing back on its own.
The survey found 64 percent of Republican voters favored Congress taking up a relief package, along with 89 percent of Democrats and 78 percent of independents.
The poll also found that 67 percent of respondents who said they voted for Donald Trump supported action on a stimulus package sooner than later.
Eighty-eight percent of Biden voters agreed.
The survey comes as the nation sees a surge in coronavirus cases and fatalities.
