A missing two-year-old boy from Virginia has been found safe Monday afternoon, over 24 hours after the FBI and state and local law enforcement said an unknown abductor allegedly lured the child from a small-town church the day before.
Noah Gabriel Trout, 2, is now in the hands of FBI agents and Virginia State Police tactical team members, the Giles County Sheriff’s Office announced before 2 p.m. ET Monday. A press conference is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET to provide more information.
“Thanks again to our partners with the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, Virginia State Police, VA ABC Enforcement, Pearisburg Police Department, and NCMEC,” sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
