At least four people were killed Friday when a truck crashed into a department store in central Stockholm, according to Swedish media.
Here’s what we know:
It took place at the upscale Ahlens department store around 3 p.m. local time. The store is located on Drottninggatan (Queen Street), one of the city’s main pedestrian streets, and is part of a Swedish-wide chain.
The truck careened down the street for several blocks, leaving a trail of broken glass, tire tracks and bodies, newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported.
Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven called the incident an apparent “terror attack.”
